Editorial Policy

MyPCGames is an independent gaming and technology publication, edited by Alex Carter. This page explains how we produce our content, so readers — and the sites that link to us — know exactly what standards sit behind every article.

What We Publish

PC gaming guides and best settings, Windows and FPS optimization, PC hardware explainers and comparisons, and gaming news and reviews. We publish in this niche only.

How We Research and Test

Our guides are built from vendor documentation and documented behavior — Microsoft, NVIDIA, AMD, Intel and game publishers — checked against current versions before publishing. We do not publish benchmark figures we have not measured ourselves; where a number comes from a vendor or another publication, we say so in the article.

Accuracy and Corrections

If we get something wrong, we correct the article. Significant corrections are made openly, not silently. Readers can flag an error through our Contact page, and genuine corrections are applied as fast as we can verify them.

Reviews and Recommendations

Reviews are genuine evaluations. Listicles and roundups are presented as curated lists, not disguised reviews. We do not sell placements, and no manufacturer or sponsor can buy a positive verdict.

Guest Posts and Sponsored Content

We accept guest contributions in the gaming and PC technology niche under the rules on our Write For Us page. Sponsored content, when accepted, is always disclosed in the article, and commercial links follow search-engine guidelines. We never sell undisclosed paid links.

Contact

Editorial feedback, corrections and business enquiries go through our Contact page: https://mypcgames.net/contact/ — that is the fastest route to the editor.
