The era of the crimson dawn
Experience an epic 20-mission single player campaign that explores the aftermath of the devastation of Baal. Help Sergeant Carleon and his allies eliminate the Tyranid infestation on Baal Secundus and preserve the honor of the noble Blood Angels.
Skirmish mode
Fight on the surface of Baal on any map of your choice and select Blood Angels or Tyranids in Skirmish mode. Fully customize your army roster by choosing your units, heroes and their gear.
Forge your armies
Command iconic units like Blood Priest, Librarian Dreadnought and Hive Tyrant to destroy your enemies. Use over 60 skills and 50 weapons to orchestrate your opponent’s bloody death.
Create momentum
Each faction has a unique Momentum system that can result in a Surged unit. Units that Surge are able to chain chains of superhuman action or take advantage of the opportunity to further enhance their capabilities.
Call air assistance
Use command points to summon faction-specific air support capabilities. Blood Angels Stormraven can wipe out xenos with a volley of missiles or hit a veteran Marine assault unit deep behind enemy lines. Meanwhile, the Tyranid Harpy can wreak havoc on enemy defenses with its resounding cry or scatter the battlefield with its deadly spore mines.
Face your friends on the battlefield
With live and asynchronous multiplayer and hotseat modes available, there’s no excuse not to take your friends to war.
